Since I can't take a road trip, it was nice to escape with this for a couple hours.

About Me

A long time ago I graduated from college with an Art degree. Life happened and my career took me away from the visual arts. Several summers ago at the Door County Plein Air Festival I was reminded how much I enjoyed pushing paint around a canvas and I have been painting a lot ever since. I am happiest when I get a couple hours to go outside and paint and especially at my easel inside working on landscape from a picture. I paint several times a week and post my progress here.
